The booming development of the photovoltaic industry constantly generates a demand for efficient and reliable power control and management.
The stability of power management and the production efficiency of electricity can effectively prevent faults in the photovoltaic industry, ensure uninterrupted supply, and directly affect the production and transmission of energy.
For systems that control high-power loads, the performance of electromagnetic relays is particularly important. Therefore, Omron has launched a new product - power relay G7EB-1A-E2 for printed circuit boards.
Product features and advantages
G7EB-1A-E2 has the following characteristics:
Compact design capable of continuously carrying 150A current
In emergency situations, it has the ability to stop and cut off power up to 150A
• Meet the requirements of low-voltage DC applications with a rated current of 150A in a 60V DC voltage environment
Significant relative advantage:
Compared to other PCB relays, it can achieve product miniaturization, safe and reliable system operation, and emergency stop function.
Compared to contactors, it can achieve products with smaller size, lighter weight, and lower cost, while having fewer power cords and automated manufacturing processes.
Stable performance+small size, widely applicable in various fields
The G7EB-1A-E2 has the same size and weight as the existing high-capacity models in the G7EB series, but its rated load current and maximum switching current have been increased to 150A. Capable of providing stability at a maximum ambient temperature of 85 ℃, while also adapting well to the integration requirements of devices with limited space.
There is broad potential for application in maintaining the stability of power management and the production efficiency of electricity.
Application of Photovoltaic Inverters
Can be applied to grid connected inverters, including PV inverters, for connecting and disconnecting the main circuit from the utility grid. The contact gap is 3.6 mm min, which meets the requirements of IEC.

UPS application (backup power supply)
50 kVA or above UPS: can be used for industrial uninterruptible power supply (UPS), 3-phase 400 VAC output 50 to 100 kVA, to turn on/off the input and output of the AC main circuit.
48 volt DC battery UPS: can be used with a 48 VDC battery and a capacity of 5 kVA uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to connect/disconnect the DC main circuit from the battery.
EV charger
Application of 48 VDC power supply system
Can be applied to power units and batteries to connect/disconnect them from the DC distribution grid. The 60 VDC rating meets the maximum voltage requirements of most 48 VDC power systems.
